Jamshedpur, Jan 10: Dr Sachin Kumar Patil, (MBBS, MD) an associate professor, at the Dept. of Community Medicine, Manipal Tata Medical College, Jamshedpur has been chosen by the Indian Association of Preventive and Social Medicine (IAPSM) to volunteer for health camps during the Kumbh Mela-2025, to be held in Prayagraj.
The Kumbh Mela at Prayagraj will begin on January 13 and continue till February 26.
Dr Patil will be serving as a health expert in health camps organised at the Kumbh Mela for six- days from January 20 to Jan 25 for the devotees assembling in Prayagraj to witness the religious congregation.

Notably, this year, Maha Kumbh promises not just spiritual rejuvenation but also unparalleled medical care for millions of pilgrims arriving from around the globe.
With robust planning and advanced technology, the Uttar Pradesh government has turned this massive spiritual gathering into a beacon of health and safety.
Doctors and medical experts from across the country would get an opportunity to render their services at the health camps of Maha Kumbh.
