Jamshedpur, Feb 25: The Loyola School Junior Section organized a Fun and Fitness Spring Camp from February 20 to 22, 2025, creating an unforgettable experience for the young students. Packed with exciting games, creative activities, and educational excursions, the three-day camp aimed to promote physical fitness, creativity, and holistic development.

The camp featured a variety of games such as the Octopus Race and Reverse Water Pouring Challenge, which not only entertained the children but also instilled values of teamwork, strategic thinking, and sportsmanship.

To channel the students’ boundless energy, the camp included fitness-oriented activities like Karate, Zumba, Yoga, along with Music and Dance sessions. These activities were designed to promote physical health while also encouraging artistic expression and rhythmic coordination.

The teachers at Loyola School went a step further by organizing engaging Hobby Sessions, where students explored their creativity and learned practical skills. Activities such as Moulding with Flour, Wall Decor Art, Fireless Cooking, and Microgreen Gardening introduced them to fun and innovative ways of expressing themselves while also developing fine motor skills and environmental awareness.

A special highlight of the camp was the Craft Workshop conducted by resource people from Pidilite, where the children learned to make personalized Name Plates using moulding clay and acrylic paints. The students were thrilled to unleash their artistic talents, creating colorful masterpieces to take home as souvenirs.

The camp concluded with an educational and recreational Visit to the Tata Zoological Park. Accompanied by their teachers, the students walked to the zoo, where they observed various animals, learned about wildlife conservation, and engaged in constructive conversations about biodiversity. The visit was not only educational but also an opportunity for the children to bond with their classmates in an outdoor setting.

Reflecting on the success of the camp, a teacher from Loyola School stated, “The Fun and Fitness Spring Camp was planned with the purpose of holistic development. It was heartening to see the students learn, play, and grow together. This camp will surely be a cherished memory of their school life.”
