Jharkhand News: Netaji Subhas University to host orientation ceremony tomorrow

Jamshedpur, Aug 7: Netaji Subhas University, Jamshedpur, is all set to host its Orientation Programme, “NAV AGAMAN – 2025”, on Friday, August 8, from 10:30 am onwards, at its university campus.

This ceremonial welcome marks the beginning of a transformative journey for the incoming batch of students, introducing them to the university’s learning ecosystem, its ethos, and holistic education.

The event will witness the presence of several dignitaries and luminaries, including M M Singh, Chancellor of Netaji Subhas University; Sanjay Kumar Yadav, state industry minister; Mangal Kalindi (MLA), Manoj Ratan Chothe, DIG Special Branch; Prabhat Kumar, Senior Superintendent of Police, Dhanbad and Rishabh Garg, Rural SP, Jamshedpur.

These distinguished guests will address the new students, offering words of wisdom, encouragement, and valuable insights into leadership, discipline, and service to society.

The programme will also feature a detailed overview of the university’s academic achievements, its progressive vision for the future, and interactions with faculty members and administrative heads.

Speaking about the orientation, university authorities emphasized the importance of such initiatives in helping students adapt seamlessly into their new academic and social environment, fostering a sense of belonging and purpose from day one.
