Dhanbad, June 3: Employees of Jharkhand-based railway divisions have got a new App to lodge online complaints over their problems with quarters.

The Railway Board has launched an App Railway Building Maintenance System (RBMS) through which railway employees can lodge complaints regarding the maintenance of their quarters from mobile phones.

In the present system, a railway employee has to go to the Junior Engineer (JE) /work officer physically during duty hours to lodge complaints of quarter-related problems.  Getting complaints, the JE directs departmental staff or outsourcing employees to address the problem.

But now employees can lodge online complaints at their convenience and on suitable dates and times through mobile.

A senior official said that over 9904 employees of the Dhanbad Rail Division living in quarters will benefit from this App.
