Ranchi, Feb 6: A major change is being made to the parking system at Ranchi Airport. New rules will be implemented from February 10, which include changes to parking duration and fees.
If a vehicle is parked for an extended period in a no-parking zone, a fine of 500 rupees and an additional charge will be imposed.
Parking will be prohibited in front of the terminal building, and only pickup and drop-off will be allowed.

The new parking rules at Ranchi Airport will be as follows:
- Private Vehicles: Free for the first 9 minutes, ₹30 for 9-30 minutes, ₹40 for 30-120 minutes.
- Commercial Vehicles: ₹116 for more than 9 minutes.
- Premium Parking: ₹75 for up to 30 minutes, ₹80 for 30-120 minutes, ₹80 for 2-7 hours, with an additional ₹10 per hour, and ₹240 for 24 hours.
- Two-Wheelers: ₹10 for up to 30 minutes, ₹15 for 30-120 minutes.
- Tempo-SUV-Mini Bus: ₹60 for up to 30 minutes, ₹80 for 30-120 minutes.
- Commercial Cars: ₹93 for up to 30 minutes, ₹143 for 30-120 minutes.
- Coaches-Buses-Trucks: ₹170 for up to 30 minutes, ₹250 for 30-120 minutes.
