Daltonganj, March 18: A 50-year-old night guard identified as Ramdeo Thakur alias Sitaram Thakur was found murdered today in the Block Resource Center at Japla in Hussainabad subdivision of Palamu.
SDPO Hussainabad S Mohammad Yakub said police are investigating this murder. He said, “I went to the place of occurrence and saw the scene of the crime.”
Yakub denied any use of firearms in the murder of Thakur.
The officer in charge of the Hussainabad police station Sonu Kumar Choudhury said the deceased had a deep cut injury in his head.

Gautam Thakur the son of the deceased has lodged the FIR against unknown people, said the officer in charge Sonu Kumar Choudhury.
The motive behind the murder is yet to be ascertained.
There is a typicality of murder in Hussainabad. It’s for wine and women in the majority of cases and where there is nothing like these two then caste acrimony and land dispute are the express factors behind the murder.
SDPO Hussainabad S Mohammad Yakub reiterated the murder case would be cracked.
