Two-Phase Form Submission; Offline Process Only Through College
OSD Exam Dr Gaurav Srivastav said,” Our exam form filling schedule for the failed MBBS students of the first year batch 2023 is in two segments. One in the college itself. It’s from May 23 to May 31.”
“The second segment is in the university by the college. It’s on June 2,” said Dr Gaurav.

The fee for the supplementary exam is 2,550 rupees. The processing of the filled exam form is in offline mode. Again, no individual MBBS student will be allowed to submit a filled form individually. It is to come through the college principal.
MMCH Sees Highest-Ever Failure Rate
The MMCH Daltonganj is back in the news as it always remains. 33 students of the 2023 batch of the MNNA courses plucked. Only 67 could pass. Among the 33 failed students,14 are girls. This is the highest number ever of girls who have failed.

Sources said this is the highest number of failures in the annals of the MMCH Daltonganj which came into existence in 2019 only.
Principal of the MMCH Daltonganj Dr P N Mahto told this correspondent, “Many of these 33 students failed in anatomy subject.”
Asked if this anatomy subject was not taught properly to which the principal retorted, “Then how come 67 students passed in this paper?”
Sources said the 2022 batch had 17 failed students, while the number nearly doubled to 33 in the 2023 batch.

Grace Marks Removed; Supplementary Exam is the Only Option
The National Medical Commission (NMC) has dropped the 5 grace marks provision. The failed students have only one option, and that is the supplementary exam.
This medical college is affiliated to the Nilamber Pitamber University and hence it is duty-bound to take the supplementary exam within 6 weeks from the date of the declaration of the result.
Results of the supplementary exam are to be out in two weeks. This expediency is to overcome the sense of frustration and stigma that grips MBBS student who fails.
NPU Vice Chancellor told this correspondent, “I am looking forward to a visit to this medical college situated at Pokhraha. I would appreciate having an interactive session with the MBBS students here.”
