Daltonganj, October 8: Palash Didi cafe was inaugurated by the Palamu DC Sameera S in the premises of the MMCH Daltonganj on Wednesday.

The hospitality sector Didis have expertise in traditional and modern recipes.

Training in the hospitality sector was procured from the Institute of Hotel Management, Ranchi

The Didi cafe offers moong daal khichdi at rupees 40 per plate. Khichri is much in demand by patients who have undergone surgical intervention.

Meals come cheap here, where an adult meal is 50 rupees per plate.
There is a facility for egg and fish curry too. Mutton is not on the menu. A South Indian dish costs 20 rupees for two Idlis. A cup of tea is 10 rupees only.
District Programme Manager of JSLPS Anita C Kerketta said the Palash Didi cafe will be open every day from 7 in the morning to 7 in the evening.
“Food and service both will be of class. Hygiene is preferred most. A visit to this Palash Didi cafe will be an experience,” assured Anita C Kerketta.
