In conversation with the Jharkhand Story correspondent on Wednesday District Superintendent of Education Sandeep Kumar said, “Our government schools have height and weight machines. It’s most expected that school officials must be putting their students to test height and weight to find out any deficiency.”

Sandeep Kumar agreed that such observations should be in the public domain for better health care. If any visible deficiency is noticed, then the nearest government health hub can be approached.

Schools’ officials may take the help of Swasthya Sahiya or the ANM in consultation with the parents first of all, he informed.
