Daltonganj, September 10: Young criminals use walkie-talkie! Chhaterpur police team, led by the officer in charge Prashant Prasad was in for a big surprise when it laid its hands on 4 walkie-talkies.
Palamu SP Reeshma Ramesan at her press conference on Wednesday said, “The criminals bought the walkie-talkies online. It was 1500 rupees for two walkie-talkies.”

Sources said this is the first instance of its kind when criminals were found possessing walkie-talkies along with cell phones. Here, in this case police recovered 4 cell phones. Some Hindi crime thriller must have given this idea of having walkie-talkie.

Chhaterpur police have caught 4 youngsters, Munna, 19, Manjeet, 22, Vikas, 19 and Sagar Raj, 22.
Sagar Raj is the kingpin of the four having cases in Daltonganj, Chhaterpur and Khelari.

Raj is an accused under the POCSO Act. Looted laptop, revolver, katta and 2 rounds of live wire, bike were other notable recoveries. The laptop was looted from the Customer Service Point.
