Daltonganj, March 20: Post Holi rush in trains has gone up at the Daltonganj railway station. Trains bound for Delhi and Punjab are finding more rush of passengers than trains to Kolkata.

General coaches are full of passengers. Passengers are occupying space near the doors of the coaches.
Labourers who came home for Holi are now returning to their workplaces. Tata-Jammu Tawi express train is a favourite train for the labourers for home coming and back.

Daltonganj railway station superintendent Umesh Kumar said the rush of the passengers is high these days.

He said there is a considerable increase in the flow of passengers even on the prestigious Vande Bharat train. This train has a frequency of single up and single down journey with stoppages for up and down both at the Daltonganj railway station.
Umesh Kumar said the rush of passengers is most visible in the Ranchi-Chopan intercity express train also.
Passengers have a dangerous habit of sitting right at the door of the coaches.
