Daltonganj, Dec 4: A team of the RPF post Garhwa Road railway station under the command of its inspector in-charge Banarasi Yadav has successfully rescued two minor girls at the Daltonganj railway station under operation ‘Nanhey Farishtey’.
Banarasi Yadav said these two minor girls hailing from Rohtas district had fled from home.
There was a phone call from the RPF inspector of Dehri on-Sone to Banarasi Yadav here around 6.44 pm on Tuesday asking for looking for 2 minor girls who could be at the Daltonganj railway station.
The Dehri on-Sone RPF inspector had shared the photographs of the two girls with the RPF inspector in-charge Yadav here on WhatsApp.
Girls attempt to mislead RPF, identified via call with mother
Yadav said following this phone call and photos of the two girls his team got on the job and it began to scan the CCTV footage.
The two fled away Rohtas girls were discovered within 10 minutes sitting in the Upper-class waiting hall.
On their quizzing, the two girls were trying to mislead and misdirect the RPF team here.
Yadav said that they got in touch with the Dehri On Sone counterpart who took in conference the mother of these two girls who confirmed these two as her daughters leaving home earlier.
Yadav said the entire proceeding was under the CCTV camera surveillance.

Support and protection provided to rescued girls
Daltonganj railway station superintendent Umesh Kumar on request made available a woman railway pointsman Abha Devi to be with the two girls so rescued.
The entire rescue operation was over by 8.50 pm on Tuesday.
The rescued girls were handed down to the government Sakhi One Stop Centre in Daltonganj, said the RPF inspector in-charge.
Preventing exploitation
The two minor girls were planning to leave for Bangalore but had no ticket with them.
They had travelled down to Daltonganj from Rohtas by a passenger train and had tickets.
The two minor girls were related to each other having different parentage. The two had just one backpack with them.
The RPF saved these two minor girls from falling into vicious sex abuse or from human trafficking.

RPF recovers passenger’s belongings
In another operation ‘Amanat’, the RPF team of Garhwa Road station post conducted a lost and found work on December 3.
According to Banarasi Yadav, a passenger identified as Deepak Kumar travelling by 13348 Dn Palamu express train coach number 13, berth number 12, got down at the Japla railway station leaving behind his goods in the coach.
An intimation came to the RPF post Garhwa Road about this passenger’s goods left on the train.
As soon as this Palamu express train arrived at the Daltonganj railway station, RPF head constable R P Mishra went into the said coach S 13, berth 12 and finally located the lost goods which was taken into possession by Mishra to be handed over to the passenger Deepak Kumar.
The lost goods were worth Rs 3800. Deepak Kumar came down to the Daltonganj railway station and received his lost and found goods thanking the RPF team most profusely.
