Dhanbad, Aug 6: Dhanbad Rail Division of the East Central Railway (ECR) zone presented a safety award to 24 employees of different sections for their outstanding performance on duty in avoiding incidents.
Divisional Rail Manager (DRM) Kamal Kishor Sinha at a function held at headquarters highly appreciated the performance of these 24 staff in the division and presented the prestigious Safety Award. On the occasion all senior officers of the Rail Division were present.
The official said these selected staff during duty detected rail fracture, Hot Excel and other problems that could have caused accidents and affected the smooth running of trains.

The staff who were given awards were:
Deepak Kumar, Sanjiv Kumar, Rajmuni Ram, Mangaldev Ganjhu, Binay Choudhary, Shailendra Kumar, Purushottam Das, Satish Kumar Singh, Sanjay Kumar, Rahul Kumar –II, Aman Kumar, Shyama Shankar Vishwakarma, Sunny Sharad, Prabhat Kumar, Nagina Prasad Singh, Gopal Kumar Baidya, Bablu Kumar, Sachin Kumar gond, Mahendra Kumar Das, Vishal Kumar Paswan, Pankaj Kumar, Rupesh Kumar and Dinesh Kumar.
One of the awardees said that though he discharged his responsibility during duty and timely detected track fracture but an award given by the DRM has encouraged him to do duty with more sincerity and responsibility.
