Ashley official gives five tips for furniture

Senior officials of the leading furniture home store today advised to keep furniture away from walls.

“During monsoon, walls tend to absorb moisture, which can seep into your furniture. Maintaining a gap between the walls and your furniture allows for better air circulation, reducing the risk of damage, ” explained an official of the store which recently completed two years of its existence in Jamshedpur.

The second tip was that of painting seepage walls.

“Use this opportunity to refurbish your space. Choose accessories that complement the new wall colour, enhancing your room’s aesthetics and giving it a fresh look,” pointed out the official.

The third tip was to choose high-quality, water-resistant materials.

“Opt for furniture made from solid wood and rich upholstery. These materials offer better longevity and durability during the humid monsoon season,” explained the senior official.

The home store official and an expert on wooden interior decor directed for the use of moisture absorbers or dehumidifiers.

“High humidity can lead to mold and mildew growth. Moisture absorbers and dehumidifiers help maintain optimal humidity levels, protecting your furniture from moisture-related damage,” he said.

The last tip was on regular cleaning of leather and fabric furniture.

“Leather absorbs moisture, leading to deterioration. Condition leather regularly and keep it away from direct airflows. For fabric and other furniture, regular cleaning with appropriate products, such as upholstery cleaners and wood polish, prevents moisture damage and retains the aesthetic appeal of your furniture,” the official added.

Special trade-in deal

Notably, the Jamshedpur store of Ashley Furniture is offering an unbeatable trade-in deal.

The offer includes trading in one’s current seating furniture and receiving $100 in Ashley credit per seat.

This credit can be used towards purchasing new furniture designed to withstand the monsoon season, ensuring one’s home remains stylish and fresh.

It is worth mentioning that one of the standout pieces at Ashley Furniture HomeStore in Jamshedpur is the Lindyn sectional.

This plush and posh sectional showcases for on-trend texture with its statement-making cord upholstery in a stunning ivory hue.

“Embrace the monsoon with Ashley Furniture HomeStore Jamshedpur—where style meets safety for your home this rainy season,” signed off the senior store official.
