Ranchi, April 8: The Jharkhand State Paralympic Committee will hold a meeting on April 11 to finalize the venue and timing for its upcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM).

Providing this information, the general secretary of the committee, Avinash Kumar Tiwari, said that on Monday, all office bearers, advisory committee members, patrons, and founder Shivaji Kumar held a telephonic meeting and agreed to convene on April 11 to set the details for the AGM.

Tiwari added that, in addition to deciding the venue and timing of the AGM, the meeting would also focus on outlining programs aimed at strengthening the association and promoting Para athletics and other Paralympic events in the state.

“Jharkhand has a wealth of talented Paralympic athletes across various disciplines. In the upcoming meeting, we will discuss strategies to nurture these athletes so they can perform to their full potential at the national and international levels. A talent search initiative will also be launched,” said Avinash Kumar Tiwari.
