Jamshedpur, Dec 11: IMD’s Ranchi Meteorological Centre issued an alert of dense fog in isolated places in the next 48 hours.
The Met centre also predicted a 2-3 degrees fall in minimum temperature in the next two days.
Most places across Jharkhand today woke up to bright sunshine with a fall in minimum temperature.
The free flow of north-westerly wind got restored intensifying the chill.
According to Met statistics, most places across Jharkhand had recorded minimum temperature over 13 degrees Celsius yesterday.
But, today the minimum temperature dropped below 13 degrees Celsius with the night reading plummeting to as low as 8 degrees Celsius at Mccluskieganj.
Minimum temperature also plummeted in Ranchi and elsewhere in the state.
