Jamshedpur, Jan 20: The minimum temperature is expected to witness a gradual rise by 2-4 degrees Celsius from tomorrow, said a forecast issued by IMD’s Ranchi Meteorological Centre.
The Met Centre also issued an alert of fog and mist in the morning in the next 48 hours.
Meanwhile, statistics from Ranchi Met Centre indicated that the minimum temperature witnessed a drop at several places today.

Jamshedpur today recorded a minimum temperature of 9.5 degrees Celsius while Daltonganj recorded 8.5 degrees.
Ranchi today recorded a minimum temperature of 10.5 degrees Celsius while Bokaro Steel City recorded 8.2 degrees.
Simdega today recorded the state’s lowest minimum temperature of 5.1 degrees Celsius followed by Khunti which today recorded 5.2 degrees.
Gumla today recorded a minimum temperature of 5.9 degrees Celsius while Pakur recorded 9.5 degrees. Garhwa and Jamtara today recorded around 7 degrees Celsius.
