Jamshedpur, Oct 2: Partly cloudy sky is expected to prevail over Jharkhand today with the possibility of thundershowers at some places.
The forecast issued by IMD’s Ranchi Meteorological Centre indicated cloud formation in several districts today due to temperature variations caused by a transition in the weather system.
The south-west monsoon has already started withdrawal from the country. Monsoon’s departure from the state is expected in the second week of October.

The line of withdrawal of the southwest monsoon continues to pass through Firozpur, Sirsa, Churu, Ajmer, Mount Abu, Deesa, Surendranagar and Junagarh today.
Weatherman said that there will be no significant changes in maximum temperature during the next two days, after that the day’s reading is expected to witness a 2 to 3 degrees fall.
The discomfort index in most districts across Jharkhand is expected to be within normal limits.
