Jamshedpur, Sept 5: A few isolated places across Jharkhand are expected to experience thundershowers and lightning today, said weathermen.
A bulletin issued by IMD’s Ranchi Meteorological Centre suggested light rain in isolated places today.
The monsoon trough at mean sea level was today passing through Jaisalmer, Kota, Guna, Seoni, Ramagundam, Kalingapatnam and thence southeastwards to east central Bay of Bengal extending upto 1.5 km above the mean sea level.
The cyclonic circulation over coastal Andhra Pradesh and Yanam was lying over north Coastal Andhra Pradesh and neighbourhood between 3.1 Km and 7.6 Km above mean sea level tilting southwestwards with height.
Under its influence, a low-pressure area is likely to form over west central and adjoining northwest Bay of Bengal today.
A cyclonic circulation lies over north Bangladesh and its neighbourhood between 3.1 and 7.6 Km above the mean sea level.
