Jamshedpur, Feb 17: Minimum temperature is expected to witness a 2-3 degrees Celsius rise across Jharkhand in the next two days, said a forecast issued by IMD’s Ranchi Meteorological Centre.
The fluctuating wind pattern has resulted in a rise in minimum temperature across Jharkhand.
Ranchi today recorded a minimum temperature of 15.6 degrees Celsius while Jamshedpur recorded 15.5 and Daltonganj recorded 13.8 degrees.

According to statistics, Chatra recorded the lowest minimum temperature of 11.8 degrees Celsius today.

Deoghar recorded 14.3 degrees while Dhanbad recorded 15 degrees and Garhwa recorded 12.6 degrees Celsius.
Bahragora in East Singhbhum recorded a minimum temperature of 18.4 degree Celsius today.
The Western Disturbance as a trough in middle tropospheric westerlies with its axis at 5.8 km above mean sea level roughly along Long. 70°E to the north of Lat. 35°N persists.
An induced cyclonic circulation over Haryana and its neighbourhood at 1.5 Km above mean sea level also persists.
