Ranchi, Oct 18: The NDA has allocated seats for the Jharkhand assembly elections, with AJSU set to contest 10 seats and JDU assigned 2 seats. Chirag Paswan’s LJP will contest one seat, while the BJP will compete for the remaining 68 seats.
Union Minister and BJP’s election in-charge for Jharkhand, Shivraj Singh Chouhan, announced that the BJP will collaborate with the All Jharkhand Students Union (AJSU), Janata Dal (United), and Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) for the upcoming elections. He confirmed that the seat-sharing arrangement has been finalized, and candidates will be announced shortly.

Assam Chief Minister and Jharkhand BJP election co-incharge Himanta Biswa Sarma stated that the elections will be contested under Prime Minister Modi’s leadership. The BJP will be fielding candidates for 68 seats, while AJSU has been allocated 10 seats.
AJSU will be fielding candidates for the following 10 seats: Silli, Ramgarh, Gomia, Ichagarh, Mandu, Jugsalai, Dumri, Pakur, Lohardaga, and Manoharpur.
JDU will contest in two seats: Jamshedpur West and Tamar, whereas LJP will run for one seat in Chatra.
