Gaya Ji, August 22: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday pledged that the NDA government would not allow illegal immigrants to decide the future of India or deprive the people of Bihar of their rightful opportunities.
Speaking at a public meeting in Gaya, he said the “double-engine government” is committed to safeguarding jobs and rights meant for Indians.

Modi said that the recently launched High-Power Demography Mission will soon begin work to address the rising challenge of infiltrators. He stressed that every illegal immigrant would be identified and removed, warning that demographic shifts in Bihar’s border areas were a serious concern.

“The growing presence of intruders is a danger to the nation, and we will not let them rob Indians of their future,” he asserted.
The Prime Minister also reminded the audience of his Independence Day address, where he had raised similar concerns about the threat of infiltration. Linking the issue directly to Bihar, he said that changes in population patterns were visible in its bordering regions, which could not be ignored.

Taking sharp aim at the Congress and RJD, Modi accused them of playing vote-bank politics by appeasing illegal immigrants. He alleged that these parties were ready to compromise the rights of Bihar’s citizens to secure the support of infiltrators.
“People of Bihar must remain vigilant against those who support these outsiders in the name of appeasement,” he said.
