Ranchi, June 3: Renowned ophthalmologists Dr. Bharti Kashyap and Dr. B.P. Kashyap from Ranchi brought laurels to India after being honoured as guest speakers at the 2026 Annual Conference of the Brazilian Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery held in São Paulo, Brazil.
Representing India on the global stage, the senior eye specialists delivered lectures at three master classes, sharing their expertise and experience in advanced ophthalmic procedures with leading eye surgeons and researchers from around the world.
Kashyap Memorial’s Cataract Surgery Technique Draws Global Attention
A major highlight of the conference was the presentation of Kashyap Memorial Eye Hospital’s “Patella Fracture Technique” for Hard Cataract Surgery during the prestigious Surgical Video Session.
The technique, developed for treating advanced and extremely hard cataracts, received widespread appreciation from international experts and scientists, who praised its innovation and effectiveness.
Dr. Bharti Kashyap also delivered a special lecture on Flapless LASIK surgery using Schwind Amaris Laser technology, showcasing advancements in refractive eye care.
In recognition of their academic and surgical contributions, both Dr Bharti Kashyap and Dr B.P. Kashyap were presented with mementoes at the conference.
