Jaipur, Nov 22: Prime Minister Narendra Modi, on Wednesday, emphasized that his guarantee carries more weight than the “false promises” made by the Congress. He called on the people of Rajasthan to remove the Ashok Gehlot government to liberate the state from oppression and corruption.

He mentioned that Modi’s guarantee starts when the Congress’s hope for the well-being of the poor and the public comes to an end.

Addressing a public gathering in Dungarpur district, he remarked that democracy has granted the people of Rajasthan an opportunity to bring an end to the misrule of the Congress government, and they should seize this chance.

“Wipe out Congress and free Rajasthan from riots, crimes and corruption. Congress departure is also necessary for quick implementation of Centre’s schemes,” he said.

He stated that in every government recruitment in Rajasthan, the Congress government has “committed scam.”

“There is such a business between Congress leaders and their close ones that their children became officers and your children are selectively thrown out,” he said.

He conveyed that the residents of Rajasthan should take note that the Gehlot government will not come back to power in the state.

Rajasthan is scheduled for elections on November 25, and the results, along with those of four other state assembly elections, will be counted on December 3.

In the 200-member assembly, the Congress secured 99 seats and the BJP 73 in the 2018 Rajasthan assembly elections.
