Dhanbad, April 28: A three-day Mobile Passport Seva Camp organised by the Regional Passport Office (RPO), Ranchi, in association with IIT (ISM) Dhanbad, began on campus on April 28. The camp will continue till April 30, 2026.

The camp was inaugurated at the Old Lecture Hall Complex by Director Sukumar Mishra, in the presence of officials from RPO Ranchi, along with faculty members and staff of the institute.
Convenience for students and staff
Addressing the gathering, Mishra said the initiative has made it easier for students, faculty and staff to apply for passports without leaving the campus.

“With the mobile van facility, services like document verification and application processing are being carried out at one place, saving time and effort,” he said, thanking RPO Ranchi for organising the camp.

The RPO Ranchi team is led by Jagnarayan Prasad, Senior Superintendent, along with officials and staff, ensuring smooth operations during the camp.
The initiative aims to provide easy and efficient passport services to the IIT (ISM) community by bringing essential facilities directly to the campus.
