Fourth seed from Tamil Nadu, Mukil Ramanan also dropped 4 games en route to the quarter-finals as he won against Bengal’s Arib Afzal by 6-1,6-3.

Unseeded Sajal Kesarwani continued with his winning run as he surpassed V Dheeraj Reddy of Telangana by 3-6,5-3 (conc). Reddy had a fall during the match and was forced to concede with a knee injury at 5-3 in the second set.
