Ranchi, May 23: Jayant Sinha, the Member of Parliament for Hazaribagh Lok Sabha constituency, has responded to the notice from the state general secretary and Rajya Sabha MP Aditya Sahu. In his response, he has exposed the internal situations within the party. He revealed how the leaders and officials of Jharkhand BJP have ignored him.
Jayant Sinha has raised objections to the fact that the notice given to him was made public in the media.
He described the behaviour of General Secretary Aditya Sahu as disappointing to the dedicated party workers and as something that weakens the collective efforts of the party.
He also stated that despite his loyalty and hard work for the party, he is being unfairly targeted.
No one contacted him
Jayant Sinha wrote in the letter that if the party wanted him to participate in electoral activities, they would have certainly contacted him.
On March 2, he had announced his decision to step back from active politics. Following this, no senior party official, MP or MLA contacted him. Nor was he invited to any party programs, rallies, or organizational meetings.
If Babulal Marandi wanted him to be included in the programs, he could have definitely invited him, but he did not do so.
Couldn’t attend Manish Jaiswal’s nomination due to late invitation
In his two-page letter, Jayant Sinha further wrote that BJP candidate Manish Jaiswal had invited him on April 29 to attend the nomination rally on May 1. At that time, he was in Delhi. Due to the late invitation, it was not possible for him to attend the rally.
As soon as he arrived in Hazaribagh on May 2, he went straight to Manish Jaiswal’s house. Manish Jaiswal was not at home. He then conveyed his message and best wishes to Manish Jaiswal’s family. He stayed in Hazaribagh until May 3, but had no contact with Manish Jaiswal.
Cast his vote via postal ballot
Jayant Sinha further wrote that as far as the issue of not voting is concerned, he cast his vote via postal ballot. After that, due to personal commitments, he went abroad on May 10. He concluded by writing that they could have certainly talked in person or over the phone at any time to clear up any doubts.
As an official responsible for the Hazaribagh Lok Sabha elections, Aditya Sahu could have contacted him at any time. Sending such a letter after the elections have ended is beyond comprehension.
