Jamshedpur, Nov 14: In a heartwarming tribute to the 555th Prakash Parv of Guru Nanak Dev Ji, the social organization Aagaaz organized a special breakfast service for the elderly residents at Ashirwad Bhawan in Baradwari.

Guru Nanak Dev Ji, revered as the “Jagat Guru,” initiated the tradition of langar, the free community meal, which continues to be a symbol of service and humility worldwide. In line with this tradition, Aagaaz took the opportunity to bring this spirit of service to the elderly.

Aagaaz’s founder president, Inderjit Singh, spoke about the organization’s commitment to upholding Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s legacy. “The tradition of langar will continue as long as the world exists,” Singh remarked, emphasizing that the gesture aimed to honor the Guru’s teachings of equality, compassion, and selfless service.

The event saw active support from prominent community members, including former Mahila Congress president Manjeet Anand, Central Sikh Naujwan Sabha Chairman Damanpreet Singh, and social worker Chanchal Bhatia.
