Jamshedpur, Nov 23: The counting of votes for the Jharkhand Assembly Election 2024 has commenced. In the Seraikela constituency, the first round of counting has been completed. After the first round, Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) candidate Ganesh Mahali is leading by a margin of 2,986 votes over his closest rival, BJP’s Champai Soren.

According to the results of the first round, Ganesh Mahali has secured 9,823 votes, while Champai Soren has garnered 6,837 votes. Jharkhand Loktantrik Krantikari Morcha (JDKM) candidate Prem Mardi is in third position with 1,986 votes.
As the counting progresses, the race for Seraikela is shaping up to be a crucial contest. Political analysts are closely monitoring the trends as the outcome will have significant implications for the overall performance of the major parties in the state.
