Jamshedpur, Dec 17: Koushik Modi has been appointed as the new Chair of the CII Young Indians (YI) Jamshedpur Chapter for 2024-2025, succeeding outgoing President Udit Agarwal. Shruti Jhunjhunwala assumed the role of Co-Chair, marking a new beginning for the chapter’s leadership.
The announcement was made during the chapter’s annual function, where the new Executive Committee members were felicitated by distinguished guests. Chief Guest Ranjot Singh, Chairman of CII Jharkhand Council, commended the chapter for its impactful initiatives over the past year. Dilloo Parikh, Chairman of CII Jamshedpur Zonal Council, expressed confidence in the new leadership’s ability to sustain and expand the chapter’s momentum.

Annual report released
The event also witnessed the release of the annual report by outgoing President Udit Agarwal, highlighting over 550 events successfully conducted during his tenure. Agarwal expressed his gratitude to partner organizations, including Jeevan, Indian Red Cross Society, Civil Defence, South Eastern Railway, Narcotics Control Bureau, Singhbhum Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI), and Jamshedpur Hoteliers Association, for their continuous support.
Vision for the future
Addressing the gathering, Koushik Modi reflected on the chapter’s remarkable achievements and vowed to uphold the legacy of impactful programs. “This is a humbling and inspiring moment for me,” Modi said. “Under Udit Agarwal’s leadership, the chapter has set a benchmark with its extensive outreach and innovative initiatives. I pledge to build on this foundation and make 2025 extraordinary for Jamshedpur.”
Modi emphasized the importance of dreaming big, working hard, and staying grounded while striving to create meaningful change in the community. Co-Chair Shruti Jhunjhunwala, a veteran member of the Jamshedpur chapter and a part of the National Governing Council of CII, was praised for her contributions to programs like Masoom and Road Safety.
