Bokaro, March 22: A total of 263 Class V students from Delhi Public School (DPS) Bokaro were awarded with certificates for their academic achievements at a vibrant Graduation Ceremony on Sunday evening. The event celebrated the students’ hard work and success in a grand manner.

Chief Guest Commends Young Graduates

Birendra Kumar Tiwari, Director In-Charge of Bokaro Steel Plant (SAIL), graced the occasion as the chief guest. In his address, he congratulated the young graduates, calling them the future change-makers who will shape society, the nation, and the world.

Tiwari lauded DPS Bokaro as the most sought-after institution for holistic education in the city, highlighting the success of its alumni, who have made their mark globally.

He emphasized the unique potential of every child and underscored the responsibility of both schools and parents in nurturing their talents and passions.

“DPS Bokaro is the most preferred destination for holistic education in the entire city and its alumni serve as ambassadors of the Steel City as they are found in every corner of the world. Every child is unique and it is the responsibility of the school and the parents to nurture them to bloom their potential and passion”, Tiwari said.

Acknowledgment for School Leadership

The chief guest also praised DPS Bokaro Principal Dr. A.S. Gangwar for elevating the school’s reputation on a global scale.

In his welcome address, Dr. Gangwar congratulated the students and wished them success in their future endeavors. He credited the school’s legacy of academic excellence to the collective efforts of students, teachers, and parents.

Additionally, he urged parents to protect their children from excessive use of technology and to foster creativity, emphasizing their role as future global leaders.

A Grand Cultural Celebration

The ceremony began with a warm welcome and the symbolic presentation of saplings, reinforcing the school’s ‘Go Green’ initiative. This was followed by an engaging cultural program.

The students enthralled the audience with a melodious welcome song, followed by a captivating performance of ‘Krishna Leela.’ Over 100 students participated in this dance-drama, depicting the different stages of Lord Krishna’s life and conveying the message of good triumphing over evil.
