New Delhi, May 10: Amid rising hostilities with Pakistan, India has made it clear that any future terror attack will be treated as an “act of war” and will invite a decisive response, top government sources said on Saturday.
The firm stance follows India’s targeted airstrikes on four Pakistani airbases during the early hours of Saturday, launched in retaliation to Islamabad’s offensive on 26 Indian sites.

The meeting was attended by Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, National Security Advisor Ajit Doval, the Chief of Defence Staff, and the three chiefs of the armed forces.
According to sources, the leadership reviewed national security preparedness and future strategic responses, reinforcing India’s zero-tolerance approach to cross-border terrorism.
