Dhanbad, Aug 5: Senior lawyers of the Dhanbad Bar Association, along with members of the Indian Medical Association (IMA) and the Jharkhand Industries and Traders Association (JITA), held condolence meetings today to pay rich tributes to Dishom Guru Shibu Soren.
Brajendra Prasad Singh, senior lawyer and vice-president of the State Congress Committee, while paying homage, said that the former Chief Minister and Union Minister would always be remembered for his pivotal role in the creation of Jharkhand as a separate state.

“He gave a voice to the tribal community and dedicated his entire life to their rights and empowerment,” said Singh.

Bar Association President Amrendra Kumar Sahay, General Secretary Jitendra Kumar and several other advocates were present at the condolence meeting.
IMA Expresses Deep Shock
The Indian Medical Association also expressed profound grief over the demise of Shibu Soren. State IMA President Dr. A.K. Singh, Secretary Dr. Pradeep Kumar Singh, and Dhanbad District Secretary Dr. Rakesh Inder Singh offered tributes to the JMM founder, recalling his immense contribution to Jharkhand’s statehood and leadership.

Traders’ Association Pays Homage
The Jharkhand Industries and Traders Association (JITA) organized a condolence meeting where General Secretary Rajiv Sharma described Guruji as a “messiah of the tribal people,” highlighting his lifelong struggle for their upliftment and social justice.
