Jharkhand News: Holy Cross School Daltonganj celebrates Raksha Bandhan

Daltonganj, August 8: Students of the Holy Cross School at Shivajee Maidan in Daltonganj on Friday celebrated Raksha Bandhan with great fervour and enthusiasm.

Principal of the Holy Cross School C B Sinha said, “Students were told of the importance of this festival wherein a brother does all good things for the happiness and safety of his sister, and sister too does her share of love and compassion for her brother.”

Sinha further reminded the students that there is a reference to this pious festival in the Mahabharata as well.

Students enjoyed the ceremony very much. The entire battery of teachers and staff, including Pooja Sharan, Sandhiya Singh, Manoj Sinha, Middat Zaya, Shivrani Kumari, Vaishnavi, Saniya, Jahanvi, Noori Fathima Ajit and Sangeeta etc contributed to the success of the celebration.
