Jamshedpur, Oct 24: Employees and villagers came together at Adhunik Power and Natural Resources Limited (APNRL) in Padampur, Seraikela, to celebrate the 100th birth anniversary of the Adhunik Group’s founder, late Mahadev Prasad Agarwal, with a humanitarian gesture.

Marking the special occasion, a blood donation camp was organized on Friday at the company’s health center, Jeevandayini, under the theme “Blood Donation – The Greatest Donation.” The event was conducted in collaboration with the Volunteer Blood Donor Association and the Jamshedpur Blood Bank.

A total of 77 units of blood were collected during the camp. Participants included company employees and villagers from nearby areas such as Pindrabeda, Ramjivanpur, Barahariharpur, Shrirampur, Chhotahariharpur, and Padampur.

Setting an inspiring example, company employee Rahul Kumar became the first donor at the camp — marking his third consecutive year of participation in the noble cause. His gesture, along with that of several others, highlighted the growing awareness about voluntary blood donation and its life-saving impact.

On the occasion, APNRL’s Chief Executive Officer, Arun Kumar Mishra, expressed heartfelt gratitude to all donors and collaborators.

“Today’s initiative is not merely a health drive, but a reflection of our company’s commitment to humanity. The true identity of an organization is not defined only by its products or profits, but by its social values and the spirit of giving,” he said.

“This blood donation camp symbolizes our dedication to those ideals laid down by our founder,” he added.

Sanjeet Sinha from the company’s CSR department extended thanks to the Volunteer Blood Donor Association, Jamshedpur Blood Bank, and all participants for their involvement and support, which ensured the success of the event.
