Ranchi, Jan 29: Officials of the Enforcement Directorate were waiting for Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren at his Delhi-based official residence for seven hours to meet but were unable to reach him.
Reports reaching Ranchi state capital said even after seven and a half hours of search ED officials had not been able to trace his location till 1.30 pm.
The Jharkhand Chief Minister has been in Delhi from January 27 for his two-day national capital tour. He had met senior lawyer Kapil Sibal yesterday.

Official sources said ED teams stormed his official residence in Shantiniketan Colony, Jharkhand Bhawan and the MP quarter of his father Shibu Soren at around 7 am today. But Hemant Soren was not available for a meeting at all three places.
In its 10th summons issued to Hemant Soren on January 25, the ED had asked him to fix the time of interrogation and clarification between January 29 to January 31st.
Meanwhile, situation looks tense in Jharkhand’s capital Ranchi and other places of the state in the wake of the ED action in Delhi. Till 1.30 pm protest from JMM workers was seen in Ranchi till noon.
