Arka Jain University becomes first Jharkhand private university to get “A” grade from NAAC

Jamshedpur, Feb 24: Arka Jain University, which has made its mark across the country for quality higher education, has been continuously striving towards building a better future for its students for the last 6 years.

The happy result of this is that Arka Jain University has received Grade “A” recognition from the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), a body of the Ministry of Education, in the very beginning of its journey, which is an indicator of credibility and quality of higher education. It will prove to be the biggest step and milestone in the field.

With this, Arka Jain University has become the first state private university in Jharkhand, Bihar and West Bengal to receive the prestigious “A” grade ranking of NAAC. Before this, no state private university in the above three states has been awarded “A” grade by NAAC. University officials gave this information during a press conference here.

Chancellor of Arka Jain University, Dr. Roychand Chainraj expressed gratitude towards the state government and congratulated the entire family of Arka Jain University and Jain Group on this achievement.

Registrar of Arka Jain University, Dr Amit Srivastava said, “For 6 years we have been working with the same vision which is that students do not have to leave their homes and go far for quality education, students can stay in their homes and get world class education and create better employment opportunities.”

University Pro Chancellor Dr N Sundarjan and Pro-Chancellor (and former Vice Chancellor) Dr SS Razi said that NAAC had to go through very stringent tests during the rating process. Despite this, the university team prepared the reports day and night and with the cooperation of all the staff members and students, today it is a dream come true. Vice Chancellor Dr Ishwaran Iyer congratulated all the professors, staff and students of the university on this achievement.

Rajesh Shukla, member of the Board of Management of the University and Vice President of the Jharkhand Bar Council, called it an important milestone and said that it is a special achievement for the entire state besides the local students.

It may be noted that Arka Jain University has received a score of 3.15.

Dean and Director Campus of the University, Dr. Angad Tiwari said that the journey from Jain College to Arka Jain University has been very exciting. “Every year we worked double the hard work and today we have reached the stage of getting Grade “A” status from NAAC in three states. This is a matter of pride for the entire Kolhan and the state.”

During this, Head Outreach Program Kumar Abhishek and others were present.
