New Delhi, Jan 19: Jagrut Kotecha has been named by PepsiCo as the company’s new CEO of PepsiCo India taking over from Ahmed El Sheikh in the position.
Kotecha will take over as CEO of PepsiCo India in March 2024. He is currently the Chief Commercial Officer for PepsiCo in Africa, Middle East, and South Asia (AMESA).
In PepsiCo’s strategic reorganization, Ahmed El Sheikh is transitioning from his role as CEO of PepsiCo India to assume the position of CEO for the Middle East Business Unit, marking a key change in leadership.

Kotecha poised to lead business expansion and innovation
Kotecha is ideally positioned to spearhead PepsiCo’s business in India. As the company’s new CEO, Kotecha will be responsible for leading PepsiCo’s business expansion and strategic initiatives in India’s changing market conditions.
As the newly appointed CEO of PepsiCo India and the current Chief Commercial Officer for PepsiCo in AMESA, Jagrut Kotecha stated, “Having been part of the PepsiCo family for the past 30 years, I have witnessed first hand the unwavering commitment of PepsiCo India to excellence and innovation.”
