Deoghar, July 29: Six Kawariyas lost their lives, and several others sustained serious injuries in a head-on collision between a bus and a truck at Jamunia Chowk under Mohanpur block, about 15 km from Deoghar district headquarters, early Tuesday morning.

According to district administration officials, the accident occurred around 5:30 am.

The bus, carrying Kawariyas, was en route to Basukinath in Dumka after offering water at Baba Baidyanath Temple in Deoghar, when it collided with an LPG cylinder-laden truck coming from the opposite direction.
