Ranchi, July 22: A Mandatory Biometric Update (MBU) camp for Aadhaar cards is underway at Delhi Public School Ranchi. It began on July 18 and will conclude tomorrow.

The initiative, undertaken by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (Meity), aimed at the larger benefit of the students, specifically those in classes 11 and 12.

The camp was graced by Niraj Kumar (IRTS), Director of the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI), Regional Office, Ranchi and ex-alumni of DPS Ranchi. His presence added significant value to the event, emphasizing the importance of biometric updates for the students’ Aadhaar cards.

The camp is being conducted during school hours. The initiative underscores the commitment of the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (Meity) to streamline the biometric update process, thereby facilitating smoother identification processes for students in the future.

The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from the students, who understood the importance of keeping their Aadhaar information up-to-date. The biometric update will aid in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of their identification, which is crucial for various governmental and educational processes.

Niraj Kumar lauds DPS Ranchi

Niraj Kumar lauded the efforts of DPS Ranchi in organizing the camp and highlighted the benefits of the biometric update. He mentioned, “The initiative taken by Meity and the proactive involvement of DPS Ranchi will undoubtedly contribute to a more efficient and reliable identification system for the students.”
