Dhanbad, April 5: To ensure peaceful Ramnavmi celebrations, the Dhanbad district police administration has banned the use of DJ sound systems during the festival and mandated that all Akhara Dals record videography of their processions.

Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) HP Janardhanan issued these directives, further instructing committee members of Akhara Dals to conduct their processions strictly along approved routes and avoid chanting any objectionable slogans.
Surveillance Measures Tightened
The police administration has also arranged for monitoring of all Ramnavmi processions through CCTV cameras and drone surveillance. “Even anti-social elements and activities on social media will be under strict scrutiny,” SSP Janardhanan stated.

To prevent any untoward incidents, more than 2,000 additional security personnel, including police in plain clothes, will be deployed across sensitive areas.
