Daltonganj, April 5: Everyone who matters in the civil and police administration today walked in the sun for peace and harmony. They walked straight and confident.

One senior police officer who had until recently intracath for routine intravenous injection walked down in the sun without any sign of feebleness.

Another senior civil officer had stylish goggles to beat the glare of the sun rays reflecting from the hard bed of the roads.

Much to the delight, the commoners too found them among themselves and felt all would be fine during this mass festival.

Today’s walk down saw a noticeable participation of the common people with the DC Shashi Ranjan, SP Reeshma Ramesan, Additional Collector Kundan Kumar, City Commissioner Md Jawed Husaain, SDO Sadar Sulochana Meena, SDPO Lesliganj Manoj Kumar Jha, DCLR Peyare Lal, DSO Preety Kisko and others.

Sources said this Ramnavmi festival officers of all ranks and files had great exposure to the public, not to weather.

The goal and the mission are incident-free Ramnavmi festival where every hour that passes off peacefully gives a sense of relief.

There is no underbelly sentiment here in Palamu despite the raging controversy across the country surrounding the Waqf Bill.
