Jamshedpur, Oct 31: St. John’s High School buzzed with energy and enthusiasm as students from the primary and secondary sections celebrated Tinkering & Innovation Day on Friday.

The event encouraged students to explore, experiment, and bring their creative ideas to life using tools and materials available in the school’s state-of-the-art tinkering lab.

Students showcased a range of innovative projects, including a working electrical circuit, a sensor-based smart dustbin with IoT alert, and an automatic plant watering system. These hands-on creations reflected the spirit of curiosity and problem-solving that the school seeks to foster.

The school administration reiterated that nurturing creativity not only enhances learning but also builds essential skills for the future. Selected projects will be evaluated, and winners will receive cash awards and certificates during a prize distribution ceremony scheduled for tomorrow.

Hemant Mandal, the ATL instructor, guided and mentored the students throughout the process, helping them translate their ideas into practical models. The day ended with a sense of accomplishment and inspiration among the young innovators.
