Jamshedpur, Oct 18: IMD’s Ranchi Meteorological Centre issued a forecast of dry weather in most districts across Jharkhand in the next 72 hours.
According to weathermen, one or two places in southern Jharkhand are also expected to experience thundershowers and lightning.

Meanwhile, the well-marked low-pressure area over south coastal Andhra Pradesh and adjoining north coastal Tamil Nadu persists and associated cyclonic circulation extends up to 5.8 Km above mean sea level tilting southwestwards with height.
It is likely to move west-northwestwards and weaken further into a low-pressure area during the next 24 hours.
The cyclonic circulation over east Assam and neighbourhood at 1.5 Km above mean sea level persists with a trough aloft at 3.1 Km above mean sea level roughly along longitude 93° E to the north of latitude 25° N.
