Dhanbad, April 17: Rudransh Sharma from Jharkhand clinched a bronze medal at the Inter-District National Roller Skating Championship being held in Mohali (Chandigarh) from April 11 to April 17.

Competing in the 3000-meter road race event for the 12 to 15 age group, Rudransh, representing Dhanbad district, narrowly missed out on the silver medal but secured a well-deserved bronze for the state.

The week-long championship, organized by the Roller Skating Federation of India (RSFI), saw over 1,500 skaters from various states participating.
Vikash Singh, President of the Jharkhand State Roller Skating Association, and Secretary Samit Sharma extended their congratulations to Rudran for his success in the Mohali championship, urging him to continue working hard for future achievements.
Rudran has also been selected for the School Games Federation of India (SGFI) National Championship, which will take place in Delhi next month.

The young skater credited his success to his coaches, Shiv Kumar Mahto and Abhishek Kumar. This marks Rudran’s third national medal.
