Jamshedpur, May 21: “Former Jharkhand chief minister, Hemant Soren has been put in jail without any investigation carried out in the case concerned. This is what we term as autocratic rule of the BJP-led central government, ” said Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal while addressing a JMM rally in Jamshedpur on Tuesday afternoon.

The Delhi chief minister who is also convenor of the Aam Admi Party and presently in a 21-day “special relief” from the Tihar jail called upon the audience to vote for the INDI Alliance’s Jamshedpur LS candidate Sameer Mohanty if they want to see Hemant Soren out of jail.
Numerous prominent leaders address rally
The rally was attended by hardly 5,000 people, including women who had carried to the venue at Gopal Maidan in Bistupur from the fringe areas of the steel city, leaving a large number of chairs to remain unoccupied.

Those who addressed the rally include Jharkhand chief minister Champai Soren, the APP’s member of Parliament Sanjay Singh, Jharkhand health minister Banna Gupta, Hemant Soren’s wife Kalpana Soren, state minority welfare minister, Hazi Husain Ansari, Minority Commission chairman Hidayatulla Khan and JMM leader Supriyo Bhattacharya.

Kejriwal alleges PM Modi will remove reservation, amend Constitution
Accompanied by wife Sunita Kejriwal, the Delhi chief minister while addressing the gathering claimed that the prime minister, Narendra Modi is set upon to bring amendments in the Constitution if voted to power once again.
“Modi will remove reservation provided to the Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and also the Backward classes if he succeeds in retaining his power this Lok Sabha election. Therefore you all make sure to defeat the BJP by pressing the button on the symbol of bow and arrow and not on the symbol of Kamal (lotus),” ranted the Delhi chief minister.
Kejriwal said ever since he was released from prison for 21 days, he has been making extensive electioneering tours and his only mission is to defeat the BJP.
Hemant Soren greatest tribal leader of India: Kejriwal
The APP convenor seemed to have a special affinity for Hemant Soren whom he said to be the greatest tribal leader of the country.
Going down the memory lane, Kejriwal said that he had an old link with Jamshedpur where he stayed for three years between 1989 to 1992 while working at Tata Steel.
Significantly, the AAP leader Sanjay Singh too said to know Jamshedpur well as he would visit the city while doing his college education in Keonjhar district of neighbouring Odisha. He also spoke a few lines in Odiya during his address.
