Jharkhand News: Four trains cancelled on December 17, three rescheduled

Jamshedpur, Dec 13:  Four trains have been cancelled on December 17 due to the mega block occurring near Posaita station in the Chakradharpur division of South Eastern Railway.

According to a circular issued by South Eastern Railways, the operation of the following trains will remain cancelled:

  1. Howrah-Kantabaji-Titlagarh Ispat Express
  2. Itwari-Tata-Itwari Train
  3. Chakradharpur-Rourkela-Chakradharpur MEMU Train
  4. Rourkela-Tata-Rourkela MEMU Train

Rescheduled Trains:

Apart from this, the timings of three major trains have been changed on December 16. These trains will operate with changed timings:

  1. Pune-Santragachi Express
  2. Pune-Howrah Duronto Express
  3. Howrah-Mumbai Duronto Express

The Bangalore-Tata Express will be controlled and operated. Railways has appealed to the passengers to get information about the status and timing of the train before travelling.

Important information for passengers: 

Railway administration has requested passengers to keep their travel plans updated and get information from the official website of Railways or helpline number. The mega block has been taken keeping in mind the maintenance and safety of railway tracks.
