Ranchi, Dec 15: A land broker was shot dead on Sunday afternoon in Kawali, located in the Namkum police station area of the district. The victim, identified as Madhu Rai, was killed by bike-riding assailants in the middle of the road.

According to reports, Madhu Rai was travelling on his scooty when the criminals approached from behind and fired 12 bullets at him. He died on the spot. After the attack, the perpetrators fled the scene.

Upon receiving information about the incident, the police arrived at the location and began their investigation. While the exact cause of the dispute leading to Madhu Rai’s murder is yet to be determined, it is suspected that the attack was related to his involvement in the land business.
