Jamshedpur, Dec 23: In an attempt to clear extra rush of passengers in trains for the Maha Kumbh Mela 2025 to be held between January 13 and February 26 at Prayagraj in Uttar Pradesh, South Eastern Railway has decided to run a Kumbh Mela special train between Ranchi and Tundla Junction in Uttar Pradesh.
08067 Ranchi–Tundla Kumbh Mela Special
According to a circular issued by South Eastern Railway today Train No. 08067 Ranchi–Tundla Kumbh Mela Special, journey will commence from Ranchi on January 19, 2025 (1 trip only)
This train will leave Ranchi at 10.30 am, arrive Muri at 11.38 am (departure at 11.40 am), arrive Bokaro Steel City at 12.55 pm, arrive Gomo at 14.05 pm, and arrive Gaya at 14.10 pm.

The train will arrive at Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay station at 7.45 pm and reach Prayagraj at 11.10 pm.
Departure from Pragyaraj will be at 11.20 pm, arrival at Govindpuri at 2 am. The train will arrive its destination station at Tundla at 6.30 am.

08068 Tundla–Ranchi Kumbh Mela Special
Train No. 08068 Tundla–Ranchi Kumbh Mela Special will depart from Tundla on January 20, 2025. (1 trip only)
The train will depart Tundla at 4.20 pm, arrive Govindpuri at 8 pm, arrive Prayagraj at 1 am, depart Pragyaraj at 1.10 am.
The special train will arrive Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay station at 5.20 am.
The arrival of the train at Gaya will be at 8.40 am and at Gomo at 11.25 am.
According to the schedule, the train will arrive Bokaro Steel City at 12.45 pm and at Muri at 1.50 pm.
The special train will reach Ranchi at 3.50 pm.
The composition of the Kumbh Mela special train includes 1 coach of SLRD, 1 coach of generator vehicle, 8 coaches of general class, 3 coaches of air-conditioned 3-tier, 4 coaches of air-conditioned 3-tier economy and 1 coach of air-conditioned 2-tier.
The train will have a total number of 18 coaches.
