Daltonganj July 1: Pradhan Dak Ghar (Head Post Office) in Daltonganj has made elaborate arrangements for registered or speed post mails addressed to the Palamu District Employment Officer in response to the administration’s advertisement for the post of fourth-grade employment. There are 585 vacant posts of fourth grade out of which 300 plus are reserved.
DDC’s Visit Reinstates Confidence in Recruitment Process
The dramatic and spectacular huge rise of the eligibles queuing up to send their applications in envelopes for the 4th grade recruitment is in the backdrop of the visit of the DDC M Jawed Husaain to the office of the Employment Exchange under the specific instruction of the DC Sameera S.
There was an enormous apathy and indifference towards sending the registered post or speed post in the wake of an unverified and unreferred news story made viral, which was adverse and disintegrating in nature.

Such was the hostile impact of this half-baked and widely circulated news story that many eligible candidates either chose to stay home or withdrew from applying for the fourth-grade job vacancies altogether.
DC Sameera S, in a precise and well thought out move rushed the DDC M Jawed Husaain to the office of the Employment Officer, sending a strong message that the recruitment process is intact, active and alive irrespective of what was made viral in contravention of the sanctity of the administration’s advertisement.
Post Offices Witness Massive Turnout of Applicants
Thousands of the eligibles rushed to the Pradhan Dak Ghar and other five sub post offices in Daltonganj to send their registered post or speed post for the fourth-grade vacancy. The last date of sending this application is July 5.
Pradhan Dak Ghar was overflowing with mailers with printed envelopes for the district employment officer in their hands on Tuesday in respect of this vacancy.

Postal Services Operate in Full Swing to Meet Demand
Postal superintendent S K Sangam told this correspondent on Tuesday, “We have set up 16 counters. Registered post or speed post would be accepted at the Pradhan Dak Ghar till 9 pm. Our entire team is giving its best. I am monitoring the whole situation. We will start doing this from 7 am till the last day as declared by the district administration for this vacancy.”
